These terms govern your use of the Maeve & Lune website and purchases made through it. Maeve & Lune is operated by ALDERSTEEL LTD, company number 17243968, with a business address at 2 Zetland St, London E14 6RB, United Kingdom.

Using the store

You must use the store lawfully and must not interfere with its security or operation, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, or use content in a way that infringes another person’s rights.

Product information

We aim to present product descriptions, measurements, colours, availability and images accurately. Screen settings and photography may affect colour appearance. Minor variations may occur. Please review the product information and selected variant before ordering.

Orders and contract formation

Submitting an order is an offer to buy. An automated acknowledgement does not necessarily mean the order has been accepted. A contract is formed when we confirm acceptance or dispatch, depending on the circumstances. We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance, including because of availability, pricing or payment errors, suspected fraud, or delivery restrictions. If payment has been taken for a cancelled order, it will be refunded.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in the currency displayed by the store. Applicable taxes and delivery charges, if any, are shown at checkout. Payment must be authorised using an available method. We may correct obvious pricing or description errors before accepting an order.

Delivery

Delivery information and estimates are set out in our Shipping Policy. Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Returns, cancellation and faulty goods

Our Refund Policy explains our commercial returns process and UK cancellation rights. Nothing in these terms limits your mandatory rights under applicable consumer law, including rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods.

Intellectual property

The store’s branding, design, text, graphics and other content are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the store for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes only unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Third-party services and links

The store may use or link to third-party services, including Shopify, payment providers, carriers and tracking tools. Their services may be governed by separate terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for third-party sites that we do not control.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your mandatory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or for business losses arising from consumer use of the store.

We may update the website and these terms from time to time. The terms applying to an order are those in force when the relevant contract is formed, unless a change is required by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also benefit from mandatory protections and bring proceedings in the courts available under applicable law.
